For additional information about our agency please: Click Here Learn more about this agency Responsibilities This Transportation Security Specialist (TSS) position is located in the Assessments and Inspections Section, Surface Operations, Security Operations (SO), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
ALL ENTRY LEVEL POSITIONS HAVE EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS: All applicants for these positions have an exam requirement. Currently, applicants for this posting who do not yet have an exam score are being invited to take the exam. Examining will continue until capacity has been reached.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be physically able to efficiently perform the duties of this position, which require strenuous exertion involving prolonged standing, walking, bending and reaching, and may include handling heavy containers of mail weighing up to the allowable maximum mailing weight.
