Police Officer
Employees are trained to become Police Officers. Applicants must pass a series of tests and interviews prior to selection as employees. This job requires a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace.
Jailer
This is the first level of the Deputy Sheriff series. A Deputy Sheriff’s primary duties are to oversee individuals who have been arrested and awaiting trial. The County Jail is a direct supervision pretrial facility.
Police Dispatcher
The Communications Section is responsible for answering both emergency and non-emergency calls for service. The Communications Officer assigned to this area also dispatch Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Units.
Corrections Officer
This is the first level of the Correctional series. This is an entry-level classification where incumbents are being trained to become Correctional Officers. The Grade for this position is CR213.
Transportation Security Specialist
In cities across the country, you would secure airports, seaports, railroads, highways, and/or public transit systems, thus protecting America’s transportation infrastructure and ensuring freedom of movement for people and commerce.
